1. If the event is being held at a location other than one of our approved Leisure Centres or venues then:-
a) Relevant permission must have been obtained in advance and a copy passed on to Go Kart Party World at least 7 days in advance of the event.
b) Access must be suitable for our LWB Hi Top transit van and our equipment, including no steps, and a wide enough entrance to the premises.
c) Surface can be hard-standing or grass, but must be even, free from holes, undulations and animal deposits.
Go Kart Party World Limited reserves the right not to proceed with the party if the above conditions have not been met, with no refund due.
2. We must be advised in advance if any children have learning difficulties, sight or hearing problems.
3. At the start of the party children are given instructions on how to drive the Go-Karts and a full safety briefing. PLEASE NOTE: We therefore politely request that all children arrive 10 minutes prior to the party starting to avoid delay or disruption to the party. Go Kart Party World will not be held responsible for any accidents that may occur due to children arriving late and not receiving the full safety briefing.
4. If the event is cancelled due to inclement weather, the deposit will be retained and the party can be re-booked for a later date. If the party is not re-booked then 50% of the deposit will be returned. The Go-Karts are capable of running in light rain, but we reserve the right to make the decision on whether the event proceeds and such factors as conditions underfoot have to be taken into account. If any part of the Go Kart Party proceeds, the full balance is retained, irrespective of whether it reaches it's conclusion or not.
5. In the unlikely event of a Go-Kart breaking down due to mechanical failure, it will be necessary to take a Go-Kart out of service. Every attempt will be made on site to rectify the problem but the party/event will continue until its allocated finishing time with no refund due. Please be reassured that our Go-Karts are well maintained and are subject to an annual test/check by the Kart manufacturer.
6. To confirm a booking, a non-refundable deposit of £100 is payable within 7 days & the balance payable the week before your party if paying by debit/credit card or by cash on the day. Please note we are no longer able to accept cheques as payment of the balance on the day of the party. Should the party be cancelled by the booker, the deposit of £100 will be retained. If Go Kart Party World Limited cancels the party for any other reason apart from conditions 1, 2 & 4, the deposit will be returned in full.
7. Should Go Kart Party World Limited consider a child is not able to control the Go-Kart adequately in order not to put other children or its staff at risk during a party, then we reserve the right to refuse that child further participation in the event. This will also apply if we consider a child to be rude, disruptive or not following instructions.
8. The maximum number of children is as follows:- 1 Hour 16 Children
1.5 Hours 24 Children
Should the maximum number be exceeded, then a charge of £10 per additional child over the maximum number will be added to the balance payable on the day. We do not advise to exceed these numbers as the parties have been structured to accommodate the numbers in item 8 for the enjoyment and maximisation of the fun for the children.
'NO' exceptions, all premises must be cleared by the times stated on your booking form and left clean and tidy as found. The person named on the Booking Form is solely responsible for this area and any equipment while in use, and is therefore liable for any damages which occur. No alcohol is to be brought on to any of the above mentioned premises.
N.B. Strictly NO play equipment brought in to the premises by parents or guests must be used at the request of the leisure centres.
